This is testament to our commitment to making sure all our honeycomb panels and cladding products adhere to the highest standard of construction regulations. Certifications include:

British Standards

HyCOMB products are compliant with the latest fire-safety testing required by British Standards, which is why our products carry the EN13501-1 (A2-S1, D0) mark. Required testings include:

• BS EN ISO 1182 – Non-Combustibility Test
• BS EN ISO 1716 – Heat of Combustion Test (Calorific value)
• BS EN 13823 Single – Burning Item Test (SBI)
• BS EN ISO 11925-2 – Single-flame Source Test

ASTM International

ASTM International is a globally recognised leader in the development and delivery of voluntary consensus standards. Today, over 12,000 ASTM standards are used around the world to improve product quality, enhance health and safety, strengthen market access and trade, and build consumer confidence. ASTM’s leadership in international standards development is driven by the contributions of our members: more than 30,000 of the world’s top technical experts and business professionals representing 140 countries. Its members create the test methods, specifications, classifications, guides and practices that support industries and governments worldwide.

Warnock-Hersey Mark

Intertek’s Warnock Hersey  Mark has long been a marquee mark in building product industry. The Warnock Hersey (WH-ETL) Mark is North America’s leading product safety and performance mark for building and construction products. Products bearing the Warnock Hersey (WH-ETL) Mark indicate compliance to relevant building codes, association criteria, and product safety and performance standards. It covers the range of physical properties of our panels under ASTM standard, as well as the fire test and aging test. It is for the compliance of building codes in North American countries as well as some mid-east Asian countries say UAE and Qatar.

ISO 9001:2015

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 164 national standards bodies. We apply the ISO9001:2015 mark as our quality management system to ensure the quality of each panel. The ISO mark indicates an ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, alongside enhanced customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system.

International Accreditation Forum

The International Accreditation Forum, or IAF, is the world association of Conformity Assessment Accreditation Bodies. Its primary function is to develop a single worldwide program of conformity assessment which reduces risk for business and its customers by assuring them that accredited certificates may be relied upon. Accreditation assures users of the competence and impartiality of the body accredited. HyCOMB products carry this mark as part of our ISO certification.

CNAS

China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is the national accreditation body of China unitarily responsible for the accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories and inspection bodies, which is established under the approval of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) and authorized by CNCA in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation. HyCOMB products carry this mark as part of our ISO certification.

TÜV SÜD (PSB)

TÜV SÜD is a trusted partner of choice for safety, security and sustainability solutions. Over the last 150 years, it has added value to its partners and customers through a comprehensive portfolio of testing, certification, auditing and advisory services. It has enabled progress in society and businesses by staying true to its purpose of protecting people, the environment and assets from technology-related risks. Going beyond regulatory compliance, it inspires trust in a physical and digital world to create a safer and more sustainable future. The Certificate of Conformity (COC) awarded to HyCOMB comprises of three fire tests which are BS476 Part 4, 6, 7. It is mainly for the Singaporean market and is required as mandatory by both the MRT and HDB

Miami-Dade County NOA

The State of Florida, U.S. requires building envelope components and systems to have either a state or local product approval for demonstrating resistance to structural wind loads, while NOA is specifically for the HVHZ and includes approval of impact resistance. It is known by its stringent code and approval criteria. If the marketing plans includes HVHZ zone in U.S, NOA is more recognized by building officials, design professionals and contractors. In addition most insurance companies are inclined to give more favorable rates for NOA products, and this is an ever-increasing financial issue that building owners are considering in construction decision-making.

HyCOMB’s honeycomb panels are approved by Miami Dade County for use as external cladding in High-Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ). Executed NOA #15-0415.07 Miami- Dade County, Florida; August 20, 2020. The NOA certificate and test results can be viewed in full on the Miami-dade website.
